  • ​30 years in education, including 12 years as a classroom teacher

  • ​Implemented campus security upgrades, including fences, advanced security systems, and Narcan training for staff​

​

  • Championed the TK-8 “No Cell Phone Policy” to enhance academic focus and positive social interactions  â€‹

  • Advocated for a full-day summer school program, serving over 3,000 students​

​

  • Secured funding for new musical instruments and student scholarships for nursing school 

​​

  • Grew Career Technical Education throughout the district to 23 pathways, including construction business management and patient care

  • Supported Transitional Kindergarten program that will be offered to all 4-year-olds, starting Fall 2026

  • Maintained the district’s Aaa Moody’s bond rating

  • Improved campus facilities, including shaded playgrounds and upgraded athletic facilities
